Since I’m in LA County, here’s my quick and easy VOTER GUIDE for my area including the STATEWIDE OFFICES. (if you want me to look at a district or your area, drop me a comment, I’ll research, and get back to you.)
Words of wisdom: Just a little about me. I’ve lived in California for 20 years plus. I’ve visited the Redwoods in Jedidiah Smith State Park, the Sequoias in Yosemite, the Golden Gate bridge, wine country, Pismo Beach, Heart Castle, etc. California is a beautiful state. That said…
Enough is enough. The uni-party has destroyed this state and it’s time to take it back.
I am a registered Libertarian with the National Libertarian party and proud of it. In California, I am a registered Republican. For me, Libs and Reps have a lot in common. It’s all in how you word it. Why am I a registered Republican in California? A little Reagan. A lot of Trump. And one thing they both taught me is: Think for yourself.
While California’s Republican party has a little bit of a RINO problem, there are some good candidates to select in the upcoming primary. There are also solid NPP, Libertarian, and other party candidates to choose from.
California has a jungle primary. What does that mean? EVERYONE is on the table. Gavin Newsom, Rob Bonta, Eleni Kounlansis, and the LOT of the Democrats can be PRIMARIED. Dems aren’t voting for dems. Republicans aren’t just voting for Republicans. We’re voting for EVERYONE.
Let’s primary these creatures.
I’m going to give you my top picks for the statewide offices and LA County. Do your own research. My picks are based on the following and how that candidate would address the problem:
1. Crime is out of control and getting worse. Prop 47, 57 AB 109 and the No Cash Bail policy let hard core felons go free. If you’ve had your catalytic convertor stolen or know someone who has, you know. Just check this out: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2022-05-05/police-seeking-two-suspects-in-gun-battle-at-compton-smoke-shop-that-ended-with-one-fatality
2. Tax is outrageous. California Democrat Socialists are SO heartless about the citizens they are letting a scheduled 1 JUL Gas tax take effect!
3. GOVT WASTE which includes: the EDD disaster, and the bullet train to nowhere. These projects are places to launder money. Plain and simple.
4 Environmental issues to include Forest management and Water management. We have no forest management policies so that’s why wild fires burn a good chunk of the state down. Water? Hello. California should not be a drought. The delta smelt was last seen in 2015. And even though in 2014 we passed a proposition to build a water reservoir we have yet to do anything about it.
5. HOMELESSNESS. California runs a “Homeless Industrial Complex” and continues to through good money after bad. Or maybe it’s money laundering. The Homeless simply do not have the resources they need despite allocations in the budget and tax increases to support a homelessness budget.
If I give you more than one candidate, than both are SOLID on the issues I addressed above. Remember, it’s about primarying the BIG clowns.
